- Reality x 2 is an exhibition exploring icons -
Do you recognize a ‘double entendre’ when you see one? Or do you need the code.
For example a kid can tell you about a GOW ‘Torque Bow’ with passionate fervor, I can tell you that ‘Faulty Torque’ is my painterly interpretation of how ‘faulty’ our understanding of hardcore gaming can be portrayed in the media.
The kid can tell you a torque bow bolt does not become charged until its firing arms are open, my painting says something opposite!
So the story an image tells may be coercive, subliminal and a dreamlike entry point to the second reality!
What is truth and what is perceived to be truth is the tricky world we live in and that’s what this discrete show is on about.
So please come take a look.
